Macaron Monday

I've been attempting macarons for about a month now. A LOT of failure is involved in these little cookie shells. It's very defeating! I was trying the same recipe over and over with different oven temps and baking times. Nothing was working. Not sure why it took me so long to try a different recipe - Broma Bakery's recipe to be exact. I followed all her steps, and it worked! The key difference was making Swiss meringue. So here they are - my first batch of successful macarons :)
